Kenneth J. Lingefelt, Sr.

Kenneth J. Lingefelt Sr., aged 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 22, 2018, passing away peacefully at home in Valdosta, Ga after a life of service to God and country.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, June Lingefelt, and their seven children, including 5 sons, Kenneth Jr., David, Todd, Douglas, Michael, and twin daughters Jane and Julia, all happy and successful in their own right. He is also survived by 13 beloved grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Kenneth Sr. was born March 3, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia He retired from the United States Air Force as an E-6 technical sergeant in 1975, after 21 years of service at home and abroad.

He loved his family and his music. But most of all, Kenneth Sr. loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

Services will be held at Abundant Life Church of God on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Wayne Hughes will be presiding. The family will receive friends at the church before the service on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be conveyed here at www.mclanecares.com.
