KENNETH DREW, 76, of Hahira died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on March 2, 1932 in Hahira to the late Whiteford T. and Bessie Turbeville Drew. Mr. Drew was a member of the Hahira First Baptist Church and a farmer. His favorite saying to his daughter was, "I don't know if I'm a retired farmer or a tired farmer. Mr. Drew loved gardening, being outside and especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Wilson Drew, daughter and son in law, Rena Kay and Herman L. Rozier, two grandchildren, Drew Rozier and his special friend, Amy Lacey, Melanie Rozier all of Hahira, sisters in law and brothers in law, Cyledia Drew, Margaret Drew Boyette both of Hahira, Marlene and Ed Kinard of Charleston, SC., Noah and Margie Wilson of Morristown, TN., Paul and Margaret Wilson of Ft. Worth, TX. and Jim and Mary Ann Wilson of Panama City, Fla., special niece, JoAnn Thompson of Callahan, Fla. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Daryl Drew, a sister, Juanita Drew Baker and five brothers, Ernest Drew, Levonn Drew, Robert Drew, Oris Drew and Hamilton Drew.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. David Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
