Ken Kent

Ken Kent, 57 of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at his residence after a brief illness. Born on December 28, 1946 in Garden City, KS, he was the son of the late William Ray and Nada Quillian Kent. Mr. Kent worked in the meat packing industry from 1971 to 1999. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a Protestant.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy Kent of Valdosta; daughters and son-in-law, Kathrine Kent of Denton, TX, Sarah and Zeferino Luciano of Holland, MI; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Johnna Kent of Valdosta, GA, Ralph Kent, Edward and Heather Kent all of Great Bend, KS and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with The Very Right Reverend Stan White officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
