Ken Erickson

Ken Erickson, 75, of Lake Park, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Erickson was born in Grand Rapids MN on February 28, 1945 to the late Truman and Irene Nyhous Erickson. He retired with 20 years of service in the United States Army. Following his military career Ken worked with Lowndes County Utilities as an Inspector before retiring. He attended Jennings Assembly of God.

Mr. Erickson is survived by his wife, Theda Erickson, of Lake Park; a daughter and son-in-law, Natalie Cowell (Dan); three sons and daughters-in-law, Jack Priddy (Cindy) of Lake Park; Lynn Reed (Amy) of Statesboro; Eric Reed (Pamela) La Vernia, Texas; grandchildren, Izaak Cowell, Silas Cowell, Derrick Priddy, Riley Priddy, Grey Priddy, Kaelyn Reed, Mycah Reed, Autumn Reed, Stacy Reed, Aeryn Reed, Naomi Reed, Murphy Reed and EJ Reed. He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen Hope Erickson, and a brother Wayne Erickson.

Graveside services will be held at Lake Park Cemetery at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2020. The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be conveyed to the family on the obituary page of www.mclanecares.com Carson McLane Funeral Home
