Keith Moore

Keith Moore, 49, of Valdosta, died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Shand's Hospital in Gainesville, FL after a short illness. He was born in Valdosta on September 19, 1959. Mr. Moore was a painter, a member of the Baptist faith, an avid NASCAR fan and he loved pleasing people rather than himself.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Harris Moore, one daughter and son in law, Ryan and Blake Wisham, three sons and one daughter in law, Brandon Moore, Shawn and Ashli Moore and Travis Moore, one step daughter and step son in law, Vanessa and David Kennedy, two step sons and step daughters in law, Michael Carter and Talisa Henderson and Cliff Rooney and Jennie Franks, all of Valdosta, eight grandchildren, Taylor Moore, Madison Moore-Misham, Dillan Kennedy, Austin Kennedy, Kali Kennedy, Preston Carter, Parker Carter and Alessa Rooney, parents, Jean and Ronald Moore, two sisters and one brother in law, Alisa Crown and Rhonda and James Thagard of Valdosta, many nieces and nephews, parents in law, Roy and Mildred Harris of Valdosta. Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his father, Wilson Cowart and step son, Kevin Carter.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Evans McMullen, Reverend Michael Bass and Dr. Clyde Stokes officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
