Keith A. Conley, 47, of Valdosta, died on Monday, October 28, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. Born in Landstuhl, Germany, he had lived in Valdosta for just over a year now and was formerly of St. Augustine, Ft. Myers and Tallahassee, FL.
Keith was a deeply loved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He graduated from Open Bible Christian School and Florida State University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He was currently employed as the General Manager at Bad Habitz here in Valdosta. During his career in the Hospitality field, he was always known for his kindness and generosity. He never met a stranger and was always generous to all in need. Keith will be deeply missed by everyone in his life.
Survivors include his parents, Terry & Cathy Conley of Valdosta; his step father, Charles Turner of Austin, TX; his son, Brandon Gray of Doraville; four brothers and two sisters in law, Gary & Dana Conley of Valdosta, Mike Turner of Austin, TX, Gene Conley of London, England and Kenny & Sara Conley of Austin, TX. Also surviving are 5 nieces and nephews, Cameron Conley & Colby Conley of Valdosta, Titus Conley & Genevieve Conley of Austin, TX and Kaitlynn Turner, also of Austin and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Prater Turner.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Southland Church. Pastor Kenny Conley, of Gateway Church in Austin, TX will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to GetAMammy.com.
