Kathryn Everett Sapp

Kathryn Everett Sapp, 75, of Valdosta died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at the Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born in Lowndes County on February 23, 1932 to the late Sam and Stella Linahan Everett and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Sapp was a Methodist and enjoyed feeding her birds.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter in law, Curtis Sapp of Valdosta, Bobby and Lynn Sapp of Hahira, two daughters and sons in law, Judy and Pete Cofield of Valdosta and Susan and Robert Rewis of Statenville, nine grandchildren, Stephanie Rochester, Byron Lynn, Mike Cofield, Mark Cofield, Michelle Keene, Dustin Dixon, Kim Taylor, Derek Dixon and Dana Rewis, several great grandchildren, one brother, Paul Gary Everett of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sapp and a grandson, Shannon Sapp.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, July 25, 2007 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
