Kathlun Warner Mullis, 77, of Hahira passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on January 21, 1936 in Thomas County to the late William Phillip and Minnie Marie McMillan Warner and had lived in Lowndes County for many years. Mrs. Mullis was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church. She loved to travel, fish and working in her flowers. Mrs. Mullis was an avid reader and enjoyed taking care of her little dog, "Sassy".
Survivors include her husband, Jack A. Mullis, Sr. of Hahira, her four children and their spouses, Kathie and David Cardin of Boston, GA, Jack, Jr. and Martha Mullis of Ray City, Jerry and Gail Mullis of Hahira, Lori and David Piland of Thomasville, her grandchildren, Shon Cardin, Kimberly (Chip) Jenkins, Alena Mullis, Andy Mullis, Larry (Jennifer) Mullis, Candi (Heath) Spradley, Gary Hayes, Ian Carnahan, 10-great grandchildren, two brothers and sisters in law, E. W. (Buck) and Dean Warner of Moultrie, Jimmy (Bo) and Kim Warner of Naylor, one sister and brother in law, June and Bobby Tidwell of Bonifay, FL, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Justin Mullis and two sisters, Katie Hopson and Lula Hiers and her beloved dog "Missy".
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Kudyk and Rev. Bobby and June Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home, 401 S. Church St., Hahira, GA 31632.
