Kathleen B. Moore

KATHLEEN B. MOORE, 75 of Valdosta died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at her home. She was born on May 13, 1930 in Carrollton, Georgia to the late John D. and Laura Holdridge Burt and had lived in this area most of her life. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Northside Baptist Church and was a retired sales clerk from Hall’s Children Shop. She loved her grandchildren and loved to shop.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Walter L., Jr. and Lois Moore of Chesapeake, VA., her daughter and son in law, Katrina and Ken Bethea of Valdosta, her grandchildren, Marie Kathleen Moore, Matthew Moore, Gregory Moore, Andrew Moore, Jason Bethea and Erin Bethea and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Leo Moore, Sr. and two brothers, Roy D. Burt and Audell Burt.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, March 4, 2007 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Schappaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
