Katherine Weldon

Katherine Weldon, 85, of Hahira, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at home. She was born in Anderson, South Carolina on August 23, 1924 to the late George Washington Landers and Lilie Busby Landers. Mrs. Weldon was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters and one son in law, Carolyn Taylor of Hahira, Ann and Gary Graves of Leesburg, GA, five sons and three daughters in law, George Harold and Judy Weldon of Gay, GA, Calvin Weldon of Hahira, Tommy and Maureen Weldon of Hahira, Allen Weldon and Brenda Folsom of Adel and Doug Weldon of Hahira, twenty two grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Mrs. Weldon is preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Weldon, one son, Jerome "Sonny" Lawrence Weldon and one grandson, Scottie Weldon.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at three p. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Pastor's Mike and Sunnie Bland officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Tuesday at the Martin McLane Funeral Home.
