Katherine L. Cooper, 54, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, December 8, 2016, following a short illness. Born in Beaufort, South Carolina, on December 30, 1961, Kathy was formerly of Atlanta. She attended Park Avenue United Methodist Church and worked in the cleaning business. Her love of cleaning was evident in each home or office she cleaned, from baseboards to windows. If Kathy cleaned for someone one time, they never used anyone else because no one could clean like Kathy. Her heart was overflowing with love for everyone. She would do anything for anyone in need and never ask for a thing in return. Her daughters Candace and Hannah are her pride and joy. She inspired so many but always felt others were blessings to her during her brief battle with cancer. She viewed the diagnosis with grace and was determined that she would be healed from treatments or by going to heaven. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Survivors are her daughters, Candace Cooper of Buford, Hannah Cooper of Suwannee; grandchildren, Soccara Cooper and Tatiana Cooper of Buford; a brother, Mike Davis of Gainesville; sister, Pati Davis Ruane of Valdosta; her mother, Patricia Davis of Valdosta. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, K. C. Davis, the love of her life and husband, Robert Cooper, and a brother, Kenn Davis.
