Karl Douglas Pearce

Karl Douglas Pearce, 45, of Valdosta, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 following a sudden illness. He was born at Keesler AFB in Mississippi on February 5, 1975 to Gary Douglas Pearce and Patricia Ann McDonough Pearce. Karl graduated from Lowndes High School in 1993 and a few years after high school he attended motorcycle mechanics’ school. He then moved to New Mexico to work on motorcycles and was there for 8 years before moving back to Valdosta to be near family. He briefly worked on cars at Moody AFB before working towards his CDL. He then went to work for Pepsi Cola Co. and was in the process of being promoted to supervisor. Karl was of the Catholic Faith.
Karl is survived by his parents, Gary and Pat Pearce, of Valdosta; brother Kenneth Tate Pearce, of Savannah; sister and brother in law, Victoria and Jason Peterson, of Fowlerville, MI; brothers, Kirk Gregory Pearce, and Kevin Joshua Pearce, both of Valdosta; sister Verity Paige Pearce, of Valdosta; and three nieces and two nephews.
