Karen Lucille Kiefer Maynard

Karen Lucille Kiefer Maynard, 65, of Valdosta died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Columbus, OH on January 27, 1951 to Emory L. Kiefer and the late Doris Ann Andrews Kiefer. Karen was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Lake Park.
She is survived by her son, John Cowell of Valdosta, her father, Emory L. Kiefer of Valdosta, her brother and sister in law, Daryl and Pat Kiefer of Lake Park, her sister, Cheryl Baker of Deltona, FL, many nieces and nephews. Karen is preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Mandy Painter.
The family and friends will have a gathering at three p. m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 5532 Killeen Circle, Lake Park, GA. Karen will be cremated. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
