Karen Janelle Jarvis (Roux) was suddenly called home to her Lord and Savior on February 21, 2021 at the young age of 40. She was born to Ronald and Janis Roux (Skinner) on December 16, 1980 at Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
A longtime resident of Valdosta, Karen enjoyed growing up in various states as part of an Air Force family. Later, she found most joy in going to various churches, spending time with her kitties, cooking, playing bingo and watching re-runs of her favorite sitcoms from childhood.
Karen is survived by two daughters, Madilyn of Goldsboro, NC and Cheyenne of Savannah, GA; her father Ronald Roux and brother Micheal Roux, both of Valdosta, GA; a brother-in-law Paul Blackwelder and niece Samantha Blackwelder of Greensboro, NC; two nephews, Brandon Forsythe and Logan Roux of Fort Worth, TX; along with countless aunts, uncles and cousins.
In Heaven, Karen is reunited with her mother Janis Roux (Skinner); a sister Renee Blackwelder (Roux); all four of her grandparents as well as several aunts and uncles.
Karen will be laid to rest at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta, GA. In lieu of flowers and a service, we are certain that she would prefer you worship in fellowship at your church. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane.
