Kaleb Giovanni Owens

Kaleb Giovanni Owens, 2, of Hahira, passed this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at South Georgia Medical Center.

Kaleb was born November 26, 2009, in Valdosta, the son of Brian and June Kraholik Owens. Kaleb fought through so much in his life, but was always happy. He gave everyone a special feeling when they were near and touched many people's lives. Everyone who met him loved him.

In addition to his parents of Hahira, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, John and Patrice Kraholik of Hahira; his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Lyn Owens of Waukesha, WI, and Linda and Lynn Martin of Sun Prairie, WI; uncles and aunts, Todd and Sarah Kraholik, and their son Benjamin of Savoy, IL, Scot and Jocelyn Williams, and their daughter Eimile of Hahira; many loving great-aunts, great-uncles, and extended family; and Kaleb's special friends, Dr. Robert Criscuola, the nurses and staff at Pediatria Health Center, the doctors, nurses and staff at Shands Hospital and at Grady Memorial Hospital NICU. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Arnold and Patricia Parrott Williams, Ed and Anne Dolce Kraholik, Jack and Doris Capelle Ardelt, and Donald and Evelyn Ellinger Owens.

The Funeral Service for Kaleb will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, in the Chapel of Martin - McLane Funeral Home of Hahira, with Pastor Felicia Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
