Justin Daniel Neeley, 17, of Valdosta died on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Shand’s at the University of Florida in Gainesville following a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Orange Park, Florida on November 30, 1992. He was a junior at Lowndes High School and worked as a lifeguard at Wild Adventures. Unashamed to show love for those he cared for, Justin could set the world right with his big grin and adorable dimples.
He leaves behind his father and mother, Corbin and Tina Neeley and his devoted little brother, Logan, all of Valdosta. Also surviving are paternal grandparents, Harold and Leta Neeley of Orange Park, Florida, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gary and Rosemary Lamb. He was joined in Heaven by his best friend, Perry, that same night.
Services for Justin Daniel Neeley will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Perimeter Road Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Anderson and Pastor Jimmy Bauchum officiating. The burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 3-6 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to a scholarship fund in memory of Justin Neeley which will be established at a later date. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. II Timothy 4:7. Carson McLane.
