June Marie Dallman

June Marie Dallman, 77, beloved mother and child of God, died from complications of a stroke on Sunday, July 12, 2009, in Wetumpka, Alabama. She joins her parents, Curtis and Daisy Dawson and a son, Robert Cleary who passed away in 2001.

June was born in Madison, Florida. For almost thirty years she owned and operated “Dallman’s” restaurant in Valdosta, Georgia. June was one hell of a cook and mother. Those who knew her will always remember her smile and what a loving person she was. June had lived in Wetumpka, Alabama for the past 3 years with her daughters, Marcella and Michelle. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church where she loved her Sunday School Class and friends there. She had a great sense of humor about life and the people in it. The Lord must be excited by what a good Shepherd came to meet him. June loved to paint, and read her Bible, taking solace in the fact that she was Heaven bound.

June is survived by three sons and three daughters; Ronald Edwards of North Carolina, Stephen Cleary of St. Petersburg, Florida, Colleen Santiago of Valdosta, James Cleary of Valdosta, Georgia, Marcella Martin of Wetumpka, Alabama, and Michelle Bryson of Wetumpka, Alabama. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, Jason Edwards, Marcus Cleary, Tommy Cleary, Stephen Cleary, Sean Cleary, Linda Santiago, Wesly McGhee, Christopher Cleary, Jana Cleary, Michael Dallman, Cassandra Martin, Jarrett Bryson and Zada Bryson.

Funeral services for June will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Charlie Scarborough will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
