June Estes Collins

June Estes Collins, 88, of Valdosta went to heaven on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Fellowship Home in Valdosta. She was born on July 9, 1932 in Noxapater, Mississippi to the late Jay and Martha Harrison Estes and lived in Valdosta for the past forty five years. Mrs. Collins was a member of Northside Baptist Church and retired as the office manager for Dr. Joe Stubbs. She was a great Mom who enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Collins was an avid Alabama fan, loved to read, and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her son(s) Allan Tyrrell (Terena) of Clay, AL; Scott Collins (Deana) of Valdosta; daughter, Claudia Mullis of St. Simons, GA; sister, Jane Armstrong of Savannah, GA. She was blessed with a niece, 2 nephews, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover W. Collins; son, Robert Tyrrell and brother, John Estes. We will miss her dearly but she fills our hearts forever.
