Julie Ann Zylla Milon, 61, of Valdosta, Georgia died on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania on February 5, 1952 to the late Leon John Zylla and Clara Eleanor Novak Zylla and had lived in Valdosta for the past twenty seven years. Mrs. Milon was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She studied French in Paris at The Sorbonne and was an accomplished musician in playing the piano, flute and clarinet. Mrs. Milon had served as a foster mother to twelve children and loved angels. She was a cancer survivor for 17 years.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley F. Milon of Valdosta, GA, her foster child, Kody Riley of Valdosta, GA, two sisters and brothers in law, Gloria and John Fasulka of Hazelton, PA, Constance and Conal McBride of Richboro, PA, 11-nieces and nephews, numerous grand nieces and grand nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 1pm, on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Ambler, Pennsylvania. Burial will follow in St. Matthew's Cemetery in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Visitors will be received at the church from 12:30-1:00. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1-800-227-2345.
