Judith Ann (Judy) Sims, 72, of Jennings, Florida, died on May 4, 2018, at Langdale Hospice House. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on April 12, 1946, Judy was the daughter of the late Paul Vincent French and Myrtle Jane Acker French. A former staff accountant at Fowler and Associates, Judy was the owner of Box Stock Project, an import and distribution company.
Survivors are her brothers and sister, David Lee (Carole Lee) French, Chula Vista, California, Larry Keith (Robin) French, Deltona, Florida, Patti Jo (Kevin) Starr of Bronson, Florida; nephews, Damon French, Chula Vista, California, Paul (Melissa) Star , Orlando, Florida, Jared Collins, Jennings, Florida, Nieces, Amber (Jeff) Starke, Deland, Florida, Ashley French and Autumn French, Deltona, Florida, Kelli Jo (Dale) Quinn, Inverness, Florida, Amanda (Chris) Rose, Clearwater, Florida; numerous great nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lamar Sims.
Judy’s urn will be buried beside her husband at Ocilla City Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of South Georgia. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
