Judy Taylor Hinson, 63, of Madison, FL, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024. Born in Valdosta, GA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Marvin W. and Mildred F. Courson. A free spirit who loved everyone she met, Judy's infectious laugh and outgoing nature brightened the lives of all who knew her. She had a passion for cooking, trips to Disney, loved fishing, hunting, shooting and spending time at the beach with her family and pets.
Judy dedicated her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at SGMC and various medical facilities throughout her career. Her compassion and dedication left a lasting impact on her patients and colleagues.
She is survived by her loving husband, Evan E. Hinson of Madison, FL; her five children: Lil David Taylor (Caneisa Butler) of Ray City, GA, Lisa Phillips (John) of Hahira, GA, Mandy Munguia (Mario) of Hahira, GA, Davy Sorrell (Stephanie) of Adel, GA, and Morgan Stempinski; a brother, Sonny Courson (Kay) of Adel, GA; sisters, Betty Evans (Jerry) of Brooks County, Carla Penniton of Ray City, GA, and Ava Krekel of Hahira, GA; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held for Judy at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Pavilion on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11 A.M.
Visitation will still be held on Wednesday evening, September 25, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira.
