Judy Carol Cornelius, 72, of Hahira, died at her home on July 4, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Born in Cook County, Georgia, on April 1, 1952, Judy was the daughter of Clara Jean Vickers Radney, and the late Woodell Parrish. She had worked in medical records at Smith Northview Hospital. Judy was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed camping, fishing and activities centered around her loving family.
Survivors are her husband, George Elmer Cornelius of Hahira, and her mother Clara Jean Radney of Adel; daughter, Lana (Joe Broome) Sturdivant of Sparks, son and daughter in law, Clint (Amanda) Cornelius of Hahira; grandchildren, Breann (Zane) Wisenbaker of Hahira, Katie Cornelius of Atlanta, Bianca (Austin) Davis of Adel, Zachary Bowman of Adel, Robin ( Danny) Brevig of Adel, Morgan (Nick) Worley of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Dylan (Taylor) Roberts of Hahira; great grandchildren, Reed Wisenbaker, Emma Wisenbaker, Wyatt Titus, Waylen Titus, Bennett Roberts, Luke Worley, Carson Worley, Maggie Titus, Blaire Bowman, Clara Rae Davis, Kameron Bowman, Khalani Sturdivant, Ka’leah English; Judy was preceded in death by her father, Woodell Parrrish, a great grandson, Blayze Davis and a brother, Jimmy Parrish.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. Reverend Ricky Pilcher will officiate. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. www.mclanecares.com
