Juanita Pattillo

Juanita Pattillo, 76, of Lake Park died on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born on April 23, 1938 in Nashville, Georgia to the late Clarence and Brunell Chadwick Moore and has lived in this area most of her life. She was an excellent seamstress and cook. She loved children and would often babysit the children in her neighborhood and became like a second mother to most. She was a loving person with a kind heart and turned no one away who was in need. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn Pattillo of Lake Park, Sandy Hackler of Valdosta, Scott and Jennifer Pattillo of Hahira; grandchildren and their spouses, Candi and Warren McGee of Lake Park, Brandy and Jeremy Valler of Valdosta, Patrick Pattillo of NC and fiancé Charletia Bailey of Valdosta, Chad and Megan Gordon of Atlanta, Caysee and Kevin Wheeler of Lakeland, Brianne Pattillo of Valdosta, McKenzie Pattillo of Birmingham, AL, Heather and Allen Corbin of Waycross and Dustin Folsom of Tuscaloosa, AL; Caretaker Samantha Lorio of Thomasville; 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Annette Moore of Jacksonville, FL; niece and nephews, Sharon Shelton of Lake Park, Tony and Janice Cleary of Lowndes County, Clint and Joy Holland of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Dianah and Ray Walden, Wayne & Cindy Moore of Jacksonville, FL; a son-in-law, Steve Thomas of Lake Park and brother-in-law, George Hunt of Savannah. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.H. (Pat) Pattillo; her daughter, Sheila Pattillo Thomas; two sisters, Clarice Warren and Ava Nell Baskins.

Services for Juanita Pattillo will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home. Dewade Bostic will officiate. The burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home.
