Juanita Moore Ragan

Juanita Moore Ragan, 71 of Tallahassee, FL and formerly of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at the Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee. Born on April 29, 1935 in Pavo, GA, she was the daughter of the late Leon Curtis and Daisy Bell Jefferson McGee.

Survivors are daughters and son-in-law, Donna Moore Coppage and Charles Coppage of Ridgeland, SC, Dana Moore Sloan of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Stephanie Rene Coppage and Chuck Coppage both of Hilton Head, SC, Jason Miller and Kristina Moranda Miller both of Tallahassee, FL; great grandson, Caleb Braden Burson of Hilton Head, SC; step grandchildren, Porschea Shipley, Ian Gordon and Autumn McCormick all of Monticello, FL; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Carolyn McGee of Hahira, GA, L. C. McGee of Barretts, GA; several nieces and nephews; and best friend and confidant, Delores Weldon. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Don Moore and Thomas Wilton Ragan.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 1 at Good Hope Baptist Church in Naylor. Reverend Clarence Gray will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
