Juanita Carter Holder

Juanita Carter Holder, 84, of Lake Park, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Echols County on April 6, 1935 to the late Austin Corbett and Wynell Kinsey Corbett. Juanita lived a full life of love and service. Her joy came in loving people, whether it was the children she taught as a paraprofessional, the kids working on the farm, or her family. She loved to plan times of fun and fellowship. Her small, sweet smile lit her face and her heart. Her dog, Little Bit, was her joy. She will be missed dearly.
Mrs. Holder is survived by her children Myrna (Rodney) Turner, Sharon Davis, and Edward (Linda) Carter, all of Lake Park; her grandchildren Leslie (Nick) Roehm, Jason (Lauren) Turner, Tyler (Katelan) Davis, Trevor Davis, all of Lake Park, and Tara Davis of Greenville, SC; her great grandchildren Miranda Roehm, Madelyn Roehm, Faith Roehm, Lawson Turner, Janson Turner, Lydia Davis, Rhodes Davis, and Eva Davis; her siblings Alton (Mary) Corbett of Jennings, FL, Jerry (Debbie) Corbett, Phyllis (Wayne) Suggs, Phillips (Linda) Corbett, all of Lake Park; a sister-in-law Dorthy Corbett of Lake Park; brother-in-law Eddie McLeod of Lake Park. She was preceded in death by three husbands Thomas (Pete) Carter, Claude Carter, and Clarence Holder, her parents Wynell and Austin Corbett, and siblings, Buddy Corbett, Annette Howard, Terry Corbett, Shelby Phillips, and a niece Tina McGuire.
Funeral services for Mrs. Holder will be on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Enoch Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Zack Corbett and Pastor Henry Cannington officiating. Burial will follow at Kinsey Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
