Juanell Irene Rentz

Juanell Irene Carter Rentz, 77, of Hahira, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at her residence. She was born on April 14, 1935 in Valdosta to the late Ross Carter and Irene Pittman Carter. Mrs. Rentz was retired from the histology department at Doctor's Lab as a lab technician after thirty years of service. She was a member of First Assembly of God.

Mrs. Rentz is survived by two daughters and one son in law, Vicki and Stacy Boutwell of Hahira, Donna West of Hahira, one son and daughter in law, Wendell and Chris Rentz of Columbus, GA, five grandchildren, Jessica Barnes of Valdosta, Wade and Michelle Boutwell of Hahira, Stephanie and Rodney Tenery of Quitman, Wendy Rentz of Columbus, Ashley and Jimy Seward of Pensacola, FL, seven great grandchildren, Shelby Joan Boutwell, Wesley Boutwell, Gracie and Mikayla Tenery, Akira, Jayde and Kalel Seward, one sister in law, Myrtle (Becky) Carter of Valdosta, nephew, Jimmy Wayne Carter of Macon and many other nieces and nephews and very special friend and nurse, Monica Gay. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty five years, Frank Rentz, Jr. and her brother, Ross (Dick) Carter, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 27, 2012 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Cotterill officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 323 Pine Avenue, Suite 100, Albany, GA 31701. The family will receive friends from five until seven p. m.
