Joyce P. Dunmire

Joyce P. Dunmire, 83, of Valdosta, GA died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on May 1, 1930 in Milroy, PA to the late Harry Paige and Verdola Long Paige. Mrs. Dunmire was a retired office manager for Dr. Charles Barker. She was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church. Mrs. Dunmire was an advocate for juvenile diabetes.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Bobbi Jo and Jeffrey Leber of Pittsburgh, PA, her son and daughter in law, Jeffrey Scott and Rosalie Dunmire of Henderson, NV, four grandsons, Andrew Dunmire of Nome, AK, Brian Dunmire of Dallas, TX, Alan Leber and his fiance', Hyojin Park of NY, NY, Daniel Leber of Deschapelles, Haiti, two step grandsons, Julian Rhodes and Raymond Rhodes of Henderson, NV, two sisters, Janice Aumiller of Milroy, PA and Harriet Benfer of Millheim, PA. Mrs. Dunmire is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Lloyd (Bob) Dunmire, her brother, Merritt Paige and her sister, Jean Paige.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at two p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church with The Reverend Joye Q. Cantrell and Father Lonnie Lacy officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ Episcopal Church Urn Garden. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
