Joyce Ann Jackson

Joyce Ann Jackson, 67, of Valdosta, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014.

She was born September 20, 1946 in Ocala, FL, a daughter of the late John and Callie Walker Sutton. For the past fifteen years, Mrs. Jackson and her husband James have lived in Valdosta, moving from Thomasville. She attended Cat Creek Primitive Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing, watching 'The Young and The Restless' and antique shows, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

Joyce was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband James H. Jackson, she is survived by a son, Josh R. Jackson of Valdosta; a daughter and son-in-law, Fifi and Tommy Price of Lake City, FL; six grandchildren, AnnaBella Jackson of Valdosta, Zachary Jackson of South Carolina, and Preston Jackson of Thomasville; Ashley Porter and husband Justin, Tiffany Price and Thomas James Price, all of Lake City, FL, and a sister, Nellie Jenkins and husband Don of Valdosta.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Jackson will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at Cat Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home, Valdosta.
