Joshua "Dr. Josh" Sullivan

Joshua T. Sullivan, DMD, 38, of Valdosta died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at his home. He was born on December 12, 1975 in Lexington, Kentucky and lived in Valdosta for the past few years. He was a member of the House of Joy and a pediatric dentist with South Georgia Pediatric Dentistry where he was known as "Dr. Josh" to his patients and the dental community. Dr. Josh was an avid fisherman and dog lover and was involved with many humane societies. He was active at Crossfit Winnersville and volunteered teaching at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Josh loved airplanes and was a strong supporter of our military.
Survivors include his parents, David Sullivan, Sr. of Lexington, Kentucky and Donna Sullivan of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, his brother and sister in law, David, Jr. and Tiua Sullivan, his nieces, Mallory Ann Sullivan and Kelia Renee Sullivan all of Salvisa, Kentucky, longtime special friend, Andrea Boutwell and her son, Drew Boutwell of Valdosta and family in Kentucky, his beloved pets, Jaxon and Boomer.
Funeral services will be held at 6pm, Friday, November 21, 2014 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Kelly Barcol officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-6pm at the funeral home and request that those attending please dress casual. Burial will be held at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lexington, Kentucky with arrangements to be handled by Kerr Brothers Funeral Home in Lexington, KY.
