Joseph Franklin Steadman, 83, of Valdosta, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Born on July 4, 1940, in Lakeland, GA, Mr. Steadman lived a fulfilling life dedicated to service. He bravely served in the U.S. Navy, stationed in the Pacific. Following his military service, he worked as a barber before pursuing his RN degree. Mr. Steadman cared for children as a pediatric nurse for over 35 years in Berkley, CA.
Mr. Steadman will be remembered by his close friends and acquaintances.
A memorial service will be held 10am on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Dasher Cemetery with Reverend Frank Gupton officiating.
