Joseph Patrick Francais

Joseph Francais, 70, of Valdosta died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 7, 1943. He was an automobile mechanic at Insta Lube.

Mr. Francais is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Francais of Valdosta, his step son and step daughter in law, Jack and Jennifer Mester of Valdosta, his step daughter, Tammy Yeomans of Valdosta, four step grandchildren, Zachary Turner, Ashley Turner, Kari Mester and Kelli Mester, his siblings, Debbie and Al Melton of NC, Dorothy Tienken of NC, Mary and Paul Daniels of WV and Louis and Mary Tienken of NC, several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his biological parents, Agatha Erdmann and Clarence Tienken, his adopted parents, Lillian Tienken and William Francais, his siblings, Clarence Tienken, Theodore Tienken, Agatha Tienken- Schnieder, William and Josephine Tienken and Lillian Tienken and his step grandson, Kodie Drue Turner.

Mr. Francais was cremated and his cremains will be scattered on Hernando Beach in Hernando, FL. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
