Joseph Kenneth Mcmullen, Jr.

Joseph Kenneth McMullen Jr. (Jody), 84, of Dasher, died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at his home after a short illness. Born on December 20, 1926 in Clearwater, FL to the late J.K. McMullen Sr. and Fannie Mae Wisenbaker McMullen. He was a devoted husband, loving father, a lifelong member of the Lake Park Church of Christ, and a World War ll Veteran. Jody was employed with M.L. Strong Texaco, a co-owner of the Farm House Restaurant in Lake Park, and a lifelong farmer.
Survivors include his two sons, Kenneth McMullen(Kenny) and Robert Michael McMullen(Mike), both of Dasher; three granddaughters, Jane Elizabeth Anderson of Charleston, S.C., Jessica Leigh (Myron) Crowe of Hahira, and Diana Michelle (Phillip) Storey of Lake Park; one grandson, Michael Joseph McMullen of Dasher; one great granddaughter, Catherine Crowe of Hahira; and two great grandsons, Ashton Anderson of Charleston, S.C., and Dylan Storey of Lake Park; five brothers, John Cranford McMullen, Hardy Evans (Lenora) McMullen, Marshall Ellis (Pat) McMullen, all of Dasher, and James Campbell (J.C.) (Judy) McMullen of Lake Park; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Woodard McMullen; his daughter, Susan Lorraine McMullen; and his half brother, J.B. Mcleod.
