Joseph James (JoJo) Bruhl, 42, of Quitman, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. He was born in Hornell, NY on June 19, 1977, to David Hugo Bruhl and Mary Helen George Bruhl. Mr. Bruhl was employed with the City of Valdosta as a firefighter and Ariel truck operator. He was a jack of all trades and master of none and known for his spontaneity. He was good with his hands and enjoyed tinkering and remodeling. He never met a stranger and put others before himself. He was a big hearted man and enjoyed making others laugh. He loved his family, especially his kids, his favorite pastime was spending time with his family.
Mr. Bruhl is survived by his wife Kimberly Presley Bruhl, his parents David Hugo and Mary Helen Bruhl, of Valdosta, a brother Michael David (Elizabeth) Bruhl, of Corpus Christi, TX, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Michael and Doris George, and Arthur Herman and Beulah Bruhl.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Frank McMillian officiating.
