Jose Ferrera

Jose Ferrera, Jr., 73, of Valdosta, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at Smith Northview Hospital. He was born in Tampa, FL on April 8, 1934 to the late Joe and Angela Valdez Ferrera. Mr. Ferrera served in the United States Navy from 1951 and 1954 during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge.

Mr. Ferrera is survived by four sons and three daughters in law, Jose III and Virginia Ferrera of Green Cove Springs, FL, Tony and Mary Beth Ferrera of Orange Park, FL, Louis Ferrera of Eagle River, Alaska, Leo and Christine Ferrera of Bremington, Washington, daughter and son in law, Vicki and Lee McOmber of Port Orchard, WA., eleven grandchildren, three great grandchild and one sister, Viola Diaz of Sun City Center, FL. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances T. Sierra Ferrera.
