Jonnie (Bj) Belinda Croft

Jonnie "BJ" Belinda Croft, 54, of Valdosta, was born on May 29, 1957, and went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 1, 2011. As God is saying "Well done thy good and faithful servant," our world has become a little dimmer.

She lived, loved and laughed. Raised two wonderful children to the Glory of God. She was an active and devout Christian in the Army of the Lord serving at Corinth Baptist Church in the Children's Church, Vacation Bible School, and Awanas Program.

Her life is best described in Proverbs 31:
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 "Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all."
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

BJ is survived by her husband of twenty years, Buster Croft; son and daughter, Jake and Katie Croft; her momma and daddy, Betty and Calvin Fitzhugh; her father and step-mother, Johnny and Mabel Moore; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Jackie Moore; step-brothers, Calvin Jerome Fitzhugh and Coy Fitzhugh; her mother-in-law, Mildred Croft; sisters-in-law, Sherry Croft, Debbie and husband Randy Walker, and Daisy and husband Dwain Keen. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Allen Moore.

Funeral Services for BJ will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011, in the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Henry Cannington officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
