Joni Rose Terrio

Joni Rose Terrio, 52 of Valdosta, died on Friday, July 7, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born on February 16, 1954 in Santa Rosa, CA, she was the daughter of the late Johnny J. and Ruth Sewell Machi. She was a veteran of the United States Navy and a homemaker. She was a member of NVA, the Cherokees of California and was of a non-denominational faith.

Survivors are daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jason Williams of Commerce, GA, Amanda and Des Little of New Port Richey, FL, Irene Terrio of Merritt Island, FL, Tara Terrio of Valdosta; one son, Stephen C. Terrio, Jr. of Valdosta and three grandchildren, Erin, J. J. and Baleigh Williams all of Commerce. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Landon Williams.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim Boone officiating.
