Johnny Hampton (J.H.) Raulerson, 79, of Statenville died Friday, April 13, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center. He is the son of the late Della and John Raulerson of Haylow, GA. He was a lifelong resident of Echols County and retired from the State of Georgia after 34 years of service as a State Trooper. He also worked for the Georgia Department of Agriculture. He was a member of the Bamburg Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Deloris Bennett Raulerson; three daughters and two sons in law, Janice Corbett, Rhonda & Jack Carter, Beth & Gary Pinholster all of Lake Park; six granddaughters, Laura & Chris McGuire, Naylor, Andrea & Jason Radney, Hahira, Sarah Corbett, Jordanna Carter, Johnna Pinholster and Courtlain Carter, all of Lake Park; three great grandchildren, Jacklynn Radney, Gavin McGuire, Amelia McGuire; two sisters, Alma Zeigler, Brunell Boyd, both of Dowling Park Fl.
Mr Raulerson was preceded in death by his brothers, Sherman Raulerson, Leon Raulerson, Louis Raulerson, sisters, Algia White, Wilma Crews, son in law, Larry Corbett.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2007, at Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church with Pastor Fred Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
