Johnny G. Stalvey

Johnny G. Stalvey, 75, of Fort Walton Beach, FL and formerly of Hahira, GA died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at his home. He was born in Hahira on August 2, 1940 to the late Bryant and Louise Rountree Stalvey and had lived in Hahira all of his life until moving to Ft. Walton Beach in November 2015. Mr. Stalvey was a Primitive Baptist. He enjoyed fishing and eating breakfast with his men's group.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Stalvey of Fort Walton Beach, FL; two daughters and a son-in-law, Missy and Lane Brooks of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Rhonda Carlsen of Hahira; four grandchildren, Daniel Johnson, Brandon Gross and Madison Shaffer, Haley Crosby and her fiancé, Nick Clark, and John Crosby; his great grandchildren, Johnny Gross and Brantley Gross; his sister, Margie McClelland of Adel; brother and sisters-in-law, Freddy and Nancy Stalvey of Hahira, Ruth Stalvey of Valdosta and Maxine Hill of Moultrie; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robbie Crosby and two brothers, Winston Stalvey and Grady Stalvey.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with burial to follow in the Friendship Cemetery.
