Johnnie Mcgraw

Johnnie "Polly" Landers McGraw, 82 of Valdosta passed away on November 29, 2011 at the Providence Health and Rehab in Thomaston after a short illness. She was born on October 6, 1929 to the late Clay and Minnie Black Oliver. Mrs. McGraw was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Lloyd Landers and her second husband, Glenn McGraw. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church and had worked for over twenty five years with Levi Strauss.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons in law, Linda Dale Duncan and Scott Duncan, Gwen E. Weathers and Bill Weathers of Molena, GA and Marsha A. Dokey, wife of the late Butch Dokey, of Meansville, GA., grandchildren, Joey Duncan, Todd Duncan, Terri Ledoux, Lisa Wilson, Beverly Nordan, Jennifer Goode and Josh Dokey and many great grandchildren, four brothers, Jerry Oliver, Douglas Oliver both of Valdosta, Gene Oliver of Lantana, Fla. and Clay Oliver of North Carolina.

She will be dearly missed, but she is rejoicing with our Lord in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Friday, December 2, 2011 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Smith and Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
