Johnnie Lou Howell New

Johnnie Lou Howell New, 79, of Valdosta died Monday, May 29, 2017 at Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born on June 13, 1937 in Hahira to the late Frank and Erie Folsom Howell. Mrs. New was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, sharing a laugh with others, reading and watching television.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Andy and Kay New of Hahira, Amy and Dan Donathan of Valdosta, Bert and Erin New of Watkinsville; her grandchildren, Jennifer New, Daniel Donathan, Jr., LeeLa Donathan, Kali Donathan, Sara New; five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira E. New, Jr.
