Johnnie Dillion, 71, of Hahira, died Friday, February 9, 2007 at Memorial Convalescent Center in Adel. He was born on September 1, 1935 in London, Kentucky to the late James Henry and Leona Sturgil Dillion. Mr. Dillion was a Stone Mason, served in the National Guard and was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Dillion of Hahira, four daughters and sons in law, Patsy Bain (Donald) of Hahira, Pansy Hafley (Jimmy) of Sam Gap, KY, Cindy Dillion (Eddie) of Chesnee, SC, Brenda Campbell (Claude) of Williamsburg, KY, three sons, Johnnie Dillion, Jr. of Hahira, Paul Dillion of Marietta and Tony Dillion of Valdosta, thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three brothers and sisters in law, Russell Dillion (Lois) of Crab Orchard, KY, Paul Dillion (Vonnie) of McKee, KY, David Dillion (Alene) of Henderson, KY. Mr. Dillion is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amy Dillion, two brothers and one sister.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, February 12, 2007 at two p. m. at Friendship Cemetery. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m.
