John Thomas

John Michael “JT” Thomas, 61, of Valdosta died Friday, August 13, 2021. He was born in Seville, Spain on April 10, 1960 to Manuela Fernandez Thomas and the late John Frank Thomas and lived in Valdosta many years. John was an avid saltwater fisherman and the ocean was his happy place. He also enjoyed playing pool, volleyball, and an avid Florida Gator Fan. John’s grandsons were his pride and joy and he loved them very much.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Harley Thomas; his son and daughter in law, Austin and Morgan Thomas and his two grandsons, John Austin and Jacks; his daughter and son in law, Taylor and Cameron Young; his sister, Lisa Thomas; stepdaughter and stepson in law; Jessica and Kirt Morris; stepgrandson, Harley J. Morris; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Antonio Thomas and a nephew, John F. Thomas.
