John Kenneth Elliott, 62, of Quitman, died on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was born on December 28, 1961, in Hahira to the late J.C. and Virginia Parker Elliott. He was a farmer and had worked for several local farms in the area, the last one being with Lawson Farms before retiring. Mr. Elliott, along with his family, was a member of the Refuge of Hope in Quitman.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Elliott; three sons and two daughters-in-law, John and Vicky Elliott, Brian and Gwen Elliott, and Jeffery K. Elliot all of Quitman; his grandchildren, J.C. Elliott, Kennedy Elliott, Parker Elliott, and Corinna Elliott; a sister, Darlene Robertson and a sister-in-law, Gwynn Poole. He was preceded by two grandchildren, Jaycee Elliott and Dominic Barrows.
A family led memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Refuge of Hope in Quitman. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
