John Clinton Harris

Clint Harris, 54, of Valdosta, died suddenly Friday, July 18, 2008. He was born on December 30, 1953 in Miami, FL to Virgil C. Harris, Sr. and the late Ruth Johnson Harris. Mr. Harris was materials management director at South Georgia Medical Center, a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Marion Dantzler Harris, two sons and one daughter in law, Benjamin David Harris, William Stuart and Kris-Anne Harris, all of Valdosta, father and step mother, Virgil C. Harris Sr. and Virginia Harris of Carrollton, GA, one brother and sister in law, Virgil C. Harris, III and Wanda Harris of Charlotte, NC.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, July 21, 2008 at 12 noon at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Thomas Mason, Jr. and Reverend Diane Shedd officiating. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to First United Methodist Church for Nicaragua missions.
