Johan Sluss

Johan Sluss, 37, of Lake Park, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on June 4, 1986 in San Diego, CA, to James and Julie Sluss. Johan had worked as a manager at Ruby Tuesdays. He was an avid car enthusiast and loved attending car shows. In his spare time, he loved working on cars with friends. He was an amazing father. He attended the St. Augustine Road Church of Christ.

Johan is survived by his parents, James and Julie Sluss, of Lake Park; his daughter, Naomi Sluss of Lake Park; his sister Caryn Kootz, of Duluth, MN; his brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Rebekah Sluss, of Weed, CA; his nephews, Ryder and Soren Sluss, of Weed, CA; his uncle and aunts, Jaime and Elizabeth Chua, Ho Fat and Anna Yu, and Lorna Moore; cousins, Sally, Angela, Sue Ellen, Allison, Austin, and Brandon; aunt Marilyn White; uncle and aunt Jerry and Sandy Sluss; and many cousins on the Sluss side of the family.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at St. Augustine Road Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Georgia Christian School, 4359 Dasher Road, Valdosta, GA 31601. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanecares.com
