JoAnn Lynch, 74, of Valdosta, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at her residence. She was born on July 13, 1946 in Lenox, Georgia to the late Jack Henry and Betty Viola Lovett Bailey. She was a retired beautician and was the owner/operator of Jo Dee’s Curl for many years. She then began working and became local manager of Hardee’s. Mrs. Lynch loved to work in her garden, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Nicole Lynch, and Joe and Marsha Turner all of Valdosta; a daughter and son-in-law, DeAnn and Walter Haskard of Hahira; her grandchildren, Jordan and Brantley Ganas, C.J and Sarah Lynch, Madison Lynch, Ansley Haskard, and Joseph (JT) Haskard; great-grandchildren, Weston Ganas and Lane Ganas; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ronnie Boutwell of Leesburg, Florida; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Joyce Bailey of Hahira, and Billy and Jackie Bailey of New Brocton, Alabama; a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Carol Sherwood of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Allen Lynch.
Services for JoAnn Lynch will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 20, 2020 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
