Joann Cain Bantz, 79, of Valdosta passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. She was born in Hahira on August 24, 1942 to the late John Thomas (Jake) & Margaret Elaine Branch Cain. She was an interior decorator that owned and operated Johnson Custom Décor and Country Peddler and a member of Redland Baptist Church. She loved fishing, cooking for her family, and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Bantz of Valdosta; her daughters & son-in-law, Cindy & Clay Parker of Valdosta, and Deborah Greene of Valdosta; her step sons & daughter-in-law, Ricky & Kathy Bantz of Carneige, and John Bantz of West Alexandria, OH; her grandchildren, Clay & Amanda Parker, Travis & Kelley Parker, Katelyn & Dusty Marshall, Gregory Gay, Brittany Ray, and Tyler & Melinda Dees; her step grandchildren, Hunter Bantz, Haley Bantz, A.J. Bantz, and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Raeley Parker, Ella Parker, Lela Parker, Mason Marshall, Garett Parker, Cayson Marshall, Taylor Ray, Caroline Ray, Jackson Gay, Kenley Dees, Harrison Dees, and Kaden Dees; and her sisters, Harriet Stalvey Dove of Hahira, and Linda Clark Pickett of Atlanta.
