Jimmy Tucker, 68, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Presbyterian Home in Quitman. He was born on August 24, 1937 in Nashville, GA to the late Jim Richard and Alyne Sizemore Tucker. Mr. Tucker was a member of North Valdosta Church of God.
He is survived by one brother and sister in law, Billy and Evelyn Tucker of Valdosta, two sisters, Carolyn Cowart of Valdosta and Mary Ellen Fountain of Jacksonville, FL, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Tucker is predeceased by his parents and one brother, Bobby Tucker.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, May 19, 2006 at two p. m. in Mount Parron Cemetery near Alapaha, GA with Reverend John Quarterman officiating. Burial will follow.
