Jimmy Dean Hall, 66, of Quitman, died on Friday, February 19, 2021, at his home. A native of Valdosta, he was born on February 6, 1955, a son of the late Lanis B. Hall and Dorothy Doris King Hall. He was a retired mechanic. Mr. Hall had worked for Valdosta State Prison for 20 years. He enjoyed socializing, never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He loved to tinker on cars and liked to stay busy. A friend to all, he was a Christian and loved his family.
Survivors are his sons and daughter, Jeremy (Ashley) Hall of Hahira, Dean Vinson of Valdosta, Jeff (Jennifer) Hale of Augusta, Adrienne Hall of Valdosta; grandchildren, Riley Hall of Hahira, Ayden Hall of Texas, Tristen Hale of Augusta; a brother, Tommy Hall of Valdosta, a sister, Debbie (Smitty) Brantley of Morven. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Hayden Vinson, and a brother, Darrell Hall.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
