Jimmie Vickers

Jimmie Vickers, 82, of Hahira died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Hahira on March 2, 1933 to the late Willie West Vickers and Willmina Sharpe Vickers. Jimmie was a retired truck driver, a member of the Methodist faith and a member of the Fort Lauderdale, FL Deaf Association.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Sue and Marc Reinhart of Tampa, FL, grandson, Dylan Reinhart of Tampa, brother, Jerry Vickers of Hahira, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jimmie is predeceased by his parents, brother, Fred R. Vickers and sister, Nina L. Mott.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at two p. m. at Salem Cemetery. Burial will follow. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, 207 San Marco Avenue, St. Augustine, FL 32084.
